- Pay $50 fee for practice question sets (deadline is Nov. 1st)
- Students read books
- Optional: Students fill out notebooks about books they are reading

- Participating libraries will receive the questions for school/public library level battles
- Finalize team members and official names
January
- Set up team battle schedules
- Practice battles
- Start battles between teams at your school or public library
- Keep a record in the library of the teams and how many points each team has
February
- Continue school and public library battles and establish highest scoring team(s)
March
- Continue school and public library battles and establish highest scoring team(s)
- Confirm teams attending regional competition with the regional competition host (host will send an email to participating schools and libraries in the region)
- Compete at your regional competition
April
- State competition in Boise!
